The company was founded in 1972 by Arnold Godinger and William Lefkowitz of New York, Godinger continues to specialize in fine quality handcrafted silver.
The lamps of formal Corinthian column style. The columns finely reeded and standing on stepped and beaded square bases. The columns terminating in cast, classical Corinthian capitals. The lamps fitted with faux candles and silver plated candle caps.
Although produced in 1992 these lamps retain the style and design characteristics of early, 19th century Corinthian column lamps. Because of over zealous polishing, there is a small section of copper showing through. The silver is now sealed, no polishing required. The lamps with 25 watt lamp holders. The lamps shown with a pleated, scarlet red, silk shade suggestion. A perfect pair of buffet lamps for a sideboard.
