A beautiful and perfect pair of English, late 18th century, cut glass, lustre candlesticks. The candlesticks on high, square bases deeply cut with inverted curves. The baluster shaped columns sharply, diamond cut.
The candlesticks with six shaped branches suspended with diamond cut, pear shaped lustre drops. The candlesticks with silver plated candle bobeche and candle sockets.
When these beautiful candlesticks were produced over 200 years ago, candlelight was the source of all interior lighting. There is no doubt that, psychologically, the soft glow and flicker of candlelight will de-stress and relax.
